GUVcat sources in extended objects (galaxies, stellar clusters)

GUVcat_AIS: GALEX catalogs of unique UV sources - AIS reference: Bianchi, L., Shiao, B., Thilker, D. 2017, ApJ Suppl 230, 24 (open source)
GUVcat_AIS was constructed from all measurements from AIS observations with both FUV and NUV detectors on, within the central 1.1degree (fov055) or 1.0degree (fov050) diameter of GALEX field-of-view (fov). Duplicates measurements of the same source are removed as described in the paper. Useful science tags are added, to clean the samples, to identify sources in extended objects. GUVcat can also be browsed in the MAST Casjobs interface, in context 'GALEX_Catalogs' where you will find GUVcat_AIS_FOV055 and GUVcat_AIS_FOV055plus (see ApJS paper for description) VO access is also provided by Vizier. UPDATED MARCH 2020 file with wget commands to download the .gz files: wget_GUVcat_AIS_fov055_glat5degSlices.cmd Below you may download the catalogs, divided in files including 5 degrees in Galactic latitude each. Columns included in the catalogs are described in the paper.
